Frequently Asked Questions
Is Save2 free to use?
Yes, Save2 is completely free. There are no hidden fees, subscriptions, or premium features. All functionality is available to everyone.
Is it legal to download videos?
Downloading videos for personal use is generally legal in most countries. However, you should always respect copyright laws and the terms of service of the platform you're downloading from. Never download content you don't have permission to use or redistribute it without authorization.
Why is my download failing?
Downloads can fail for several reasons: the video might be private, age-restricted, or region-locked. Some platforms also change their systems frequently. Try again later, or try a different video to see if the issue persists.
What video quality can I download?
You can download videos in the highest quality available on the source platform, up to 4K/2160p for some videos. The available qualities depend on what the original uploader provided.
Can I download audio only?
Yes! When you fetch video information, you'll see audio-only options like MP3 and M4A. This is perfect for downloading music or podcasts.
Is my data safe?
We don't store any personal information. Video URLs are processed temporarily and deleted after download. We don't track users or store download history. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Why is the download slow?
Download speed depends on the source platform's servers and your internet connection. We don't limit speeds on our end. If downloads are consistently slow, try a different time of day.
Do you support playlists?
Currently, we only support individual video downloads. Playlist support may be added in the future.
Can I use this on mobile?
Yes! Save2 works on any device with a web browser. On iOS, downloaded files go to your Files app. On Android, they go to your Downloads folder.
How do I report a problem?
If you encounter issues, please try with a different video first. Platform changes can temporarily break downloads. We regularly update our systems to fix issues.
